Can I nominate a corporate sponsor from my District if the same company is nominated by another District?Back to Top
Because corporate sponsorship spans multiple Districts, corporations can be nominated and presented the award by multiple Districts in a single program year.

Can I nominate a corporate sponsor that has sponsored one or more clubs for less than the required two-year prerequisite?Back to Top
The Corporate Recognition Award program is a high distinction meant to recognize and commend the dedication and tenured support of corporate sponsors. Therefore, a corporate sponsor must have sponsored at least one club in your District for two years or longer.

My District is scheduled for a Region Advisor visit but not an International Officer or International Director visit. Can a nomination be submitted?Back to Top
The corporate recognition award can only be presented by the International Officer or International Director. Region Advisor visits do not qualify for a corporate recognition award nomination. However, Districts are welcomed and encouraged to find other ways to recognize qualified corporate sponsors in their District.

When should I inform the corporate sponsor of the award presentation?Back to Top
Each nomination goes through a review process and must meet certain criteria. The corporate sponsor should not be notified of the presentation until the nomination is approved by the Corporate Relations team.

Why do I need to include the sponsored clubs in my District on the nomination form?Back to Top
While the Corporate Recognition Award nomination is submitted on behalf of and presented to a corporation, we do ask that you provide the club's name and charter date of active sponsored clubs in your District to verify nomination eligibility. The award, however, is not presented to the club.

Will a nomination be accepted if submitted less than six weeks prior to my presentation date?Back to Top
To allow time to review and approve the nomination and to order and ship the award trophy, a minimum of six weeks for U.S. orders and eight weeks for international orders must be provided to avoid rush charges.
